Preparing Your Smile For Big Events

Nothing is worse than feeling unsure of your smile before a special event in your life. From your school picture day to your wedding day, once in a lifetime moments should be enjoyed with a smile that is carefree and bright. Read on in today’s blog from Parkcrest Dental to learn how you can prepare your teeth for a special occasion that requires a healthy smile.

Teeth-Whitening

While there are at-home teeth-whitening products, professional teeth-whitening is always the safest and most effective treatment option. Whitening sessions take place at your dental office, and you will notice the results almost immediately. Teeth-whitening from the team at Parkcrest Dental will help your smile look its best. White teeth are a confidence booster, giving those who don’t smile very often a big reason to show off their new beautiful smile.

Invisalign or Braces

While whitening your teeth can make a big difference in your smile’s appearance, orthodontics can take your smile to the next level. Whether you want to make big adjustments to crooked teeth or you just want to preserve the perfect smile you already have, orthodontics make great results easy.

While teeth-whitening is a procedure with remarkably fast results, straightening your teeth with braces or Invisalign is a long process. Quality results may take at least a year’s time, so if you have a wedding or event in your future it’s time to get started!

Repairing Chips or Cavities

A sugary diet and a poor daily dental routine can lead to cavities. Anything from athletics to hard candy can cause a chipped tooth. If you’re dealing with a situation like this, take a trip to your dentist for a check-up. You can usually clear up the problem quickly, often in one to two visits depending on the severity of the problem.
