Dr Edwards Parkcrest Dental

Meet Dr. Edwards

Dr. Abigail Edwards grew up in Nixa, Missouri, and graduated from Nixa High School. She attended Rockhurst University in Kansas City, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Theology. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, graduating in 2025.

Following dental school, Dr. Edwards furthered her clinical training by completing a General Practice Residency at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. During her residency, she gained advanced experience in comprehensive dental care, oral surgery, emergency dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and the treatment of medically complex patients in a hospital setting.

Dr. Edwards is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care and enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles. She is excited to return to southwest Missouri and serve the community she has always called home.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Edwards enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the lake, snow skiing, reading, traveling, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She also enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors whenever she can.
