Betty Suarez, played by America Ferrera, is the star of the television series Ugly Betty. She is a 22-year old girl from Queens, New York, who is smart and hardworking but features an eclectic sense of style. Despite that, she finds herself climbing the ranks in the fashion industry. Betty’s braces don’t seem very effective — she wears them for four full seasons — but she looks great regardless.
#2 Darla Sherman (Finding Nemo)
Darla is the antagonist in the family favorite “Finding Nemo”. She is the niece of the dentist that fishes Nemo out of the ocean. Darla wears not only braces but some serious headgear as well. While she isn’t evil, her overexcitement and love for Nemo produce much of the drama of the movie.
#3 Murray (Clueless)
You may know Donald Faison as Turk from the TV show Scrubs, but before that, we got to know him as Murray in Clueless. Murray is one of the main characters in the movie and TV show as the popular Dionne’s boyfriend. Donald showed us how you can have braces and still be incredibly cool.
#4 Mike Wazowski (Monsters University)
Mike is the one-eyed green cartoon monster featured in the Pixar hits “Monsters, Inc” and “Monsters University.” In the prequel, Mike has completed his orthodontic braces treatment, and dutifully wears his retainer throughout the film.

Sharon Spitz is the main character on the cartoon Braceface. Her braces are somehow electrically charged, which results in her having many magical powers and abilities. #6 Chuckie Finster (Rugrats)
Chuckie Finster is a red-headed baby and Tommy Pickles best friend in the classic cartoon Rugrats. Chuckie is a bit of a coward but always sticks up for his friends in the end. Although Chuckie has braces at such a young age in Rugrats, in the sequel show All Grown Up he still has braces as a pre-teen. Whatever his orthodontist is doing clearly isn’t working.
