Braces for Any Stage of Life

Braces are not just for teenagers, although they are some of our most frequent patients. Dr. Steven Harrison, our board-certified orthodontist, has helped thousands of patients have their best smiles for nearly 40 years, since 1986.

Getting braces is not a small decision. It takes patience, adaptation, and time. But the results are well worth it!

Having a beautiful smile is more than just cosmetic. Braces can help prevent tooth decay, jaw pain, or even more extensive dental work in the future. Braces can also help with an overbite and underbite.

"Dr. Harrison changed my life. He did my braces and now I have a perfect smile. He also referred me to a great surgeon, whom he communicated closely with, to fix my underbite. They collaborated throughout the process to make sure everything aligned as closely as possible. He’s also a cool guy. 😎 I strongly recommend him for anyone who has an underbite/overbite or just needs braces. Great environment, super friendly staff, and easy appointments."

Why choose a board-certified orthodontist for braces?

A board-certified orthodontist graduates from an accredited dental school like a general dentist, then they complete two to three years more of advanced training through an accredited residency program through the Commission on Dental Accreditation.

Then, doctors must pass the written and clinical examinations as administered by highly experienced and board-certified orthodontists through the American Board of Orthodontists.

Further, board-certified orthodontist must renew their certification every 10 years. Dr. Harrison has been a board-certified orthodontist for his entire career!

It’s important to determine the credentials of the dentist who will treat you or your child with braces. Some general dentists will have braces as a treatment option. They are competent doctors who can attend qualified seminars to get basic knowledge about braces. However, board-certified orthodontists have special training for two to three years to gain the expertise they regarding the proper bite and how best to correct it.

Choosing the best orthodontic care with braces is important. Dr. Harrison has nearly 40 years of experience in braces and beautiful smiles!
